Vokèra, an industry leader in quality home heating devices, is thrilled to have been nominated in both the Collaboration of the Year and Training Initiative of the Year categories at the prestigious H&V News Awards.

In the Collaboration of the Year category, Vokèra has been recognised for its work with Sharp Construction, Fife Council and the Scottish Energy Centre, part of Edinburgh Napier University, on refurbishing a four-in-a-block residential property. Located on Rosewell Drive in Fife the project aimed to find the most efficient way to refurbish properties for the community.

Vokèra is also shortlisted for the Training Initiative of the Year for its impressive work with Glasgow Kelvin College and the Vokèra College Partnership Programme, which has been set up to help and support the next generation of heating engineers.

“It is a real honour to be shortlisted in both of these categories,” says Neil Mattock, Marketing Director at Vokèra. “The H&V News Awards represents the best in the industry and there are some great finalists and we are delighted to be amongst them. It is great recognition for the work we are doing with our college partnership scheme and the hard work that went into the refurbishment project in Fife.”

As the longest-running award ceremony within the industry, the H&V News Awards have the fantastic reputation of being The Oscars of the building services world. This year, the awards are due to take place on 21st April 2016 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. The event has become known as an annual celebration of excellence, forward thinking and the greatest achievements within the entire HVAC and building services value chain. This includes anyone from contractors and consultants, installers, private building owners, service and maintenance companies, building information modelling (BIM), retrofit and safety and training providers.
